
Animated GIFs have been around for decades. They’re easy to load, fun to watch, and even more fun to share. GIFs are popular on websites like Tumblr, Facebook and Reddit; plus there are many sites devoted solely to GIFs like Giphy, Tenor and Imgur.
Photoshop makes animation easy. We’ll use the timeline panel to create a basic frame animation.
Then we’ll move onto layer animation using the video timeline. We’ll learn about keyframes, tweening, adding in layer adjustments, texture and background details.
